The role

The Junior Account Manager is the link between the client and the entire agency team. Along with their team, the Junior Account Manager acts as both the salesperson for the agency and as the client’s representative within the agency.

You will help to prepare and deliver presentations to clients alongside the more senior team members, ensuring the ideas remain faithful to the brief and that it is kept within the time frame and budget.

Daily contact with clients is a key part of the job, so building client relationships and offering new and forward-thinking ideas both internally and externally is essential to the productive communication process.

Key responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of projects
  • Help monitor the progress of projects to keep within budget and timescales
  • Attend client calls with senior team members, gather client feedback and submit to the creative team via a creative brief
  • Fix appointments with clients through phone calls or meetings, ensuring projects timings are successfully met
  • Use their knowledge and skills to push clients, the team and the agency in the most productive direction
  • Manage and ensure quality control for all final approved assets
  • Manage the Veeva portal needs: uploads, updates, attend relevant trainings and be the lead contact
  • Help create design briefs for the creative team including but not limited to:
  • Online search and selection of images from shoots, leveraging existing assets
  • Be a key player to bring economies of scale through leveraging a wide variety of assets across multiple projects
  • Create and update a monthly competitive research deck for main competitor brands on website social platforms, eCommerce sites, etc.

What you need to succeed

  • Agency experience in professional client relationship management (3 years)
  • A solid background in advertising, design or marketing
  • A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (French and other European language is a bonus)
  • Effective project management capabilities
  • A keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints
  • Full awareness of creative processes and techniques, including digital platforms
  • The willingness to note relevant trends and develop ideas
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a busy team
